The Oklahoma Teacher Induction Program (OTIP) is a 2016 Math and Science Parntership Program funded by the Oklahoma State Department of Education through the United State Department of Education Title IIB program.

OTIP is a collaboration between seventeen school districts and six community partners to implement mentoring and support structures to improve the content and pedagogical expertise of novice and experienced mathematics and science teachers.  A total of eighty math and science teachers will be served through an intensive professional development program during the next two years with the possibility of a third year.  Twenty mentor (more than five years experience) and sixty novice (zero to five years experience) teachers will be selected to participate in the professional development program.  OTIP will implement a professional learning plan of eighty hours to include a two-day mentoring workshop, five-day math and science content workshop, follow-up workshops, and online learning experiences.
